Ozone for Better Health

Have you ever heard of ozone therapy?

While ozone should not be inhaled, there are a lot of impactful applications for ozone.

This type of therapy has been used in Europe for decades, but its use was actually suppressed for quite a while in the US.

Because of ozone’s great healing capabilities, it is perfect for our conversation about healing tools we needed due to the toxin load we experience nowadays.

There are two categories for ozone application: local effect and systemic effect.

For local ozone application, you have the options of:

• Ozone Oil (as an oil, capsule, spray, suppository)
• Limb Bagging
• Ear Ozone
• Ozone Injections
• Ozone Cupping
• Ozone Water

For systemic effects, as in, having wide spread support through the whole body, there is:

• Rectal Ozone
• Vaginal Ozone
• IV Ozone (can only be done in a clinic)
• Ozone Sauna

I’ve been using ozone for years, on and off (like with all healing tools, there are cycles we go through).

The benefits of systemic ozone applications include:

• Modulating the immune system
• Improving blood circulation
• Supporting detox pathways
• Anti-pathogenic properties (including candida, parasites, mold, viruses, bacteria)
• Increasing oxygen efficiency (it improves your body’s ability to use oxygen!)
• Improving energy
• Reducing brain fog
• Supporting gut health

Rectal ozone is one of the best options when dealing with chronic diseases, and it can easily be done at home.

When ozone is absorbed through the colon, it goes into the bloodstream and is distributed through the body.

Because of that, rectal ozone is a great to help with big diseases like autoimmune issues, cancer, and Lyme disease, but also for everyday health and fitness.

For the systemic ozone options, you do need an ozone generator and the accompanying tools with it.

The materials used to make these tools is extremely important, because using cheaper materials will allow the ozone-oxygen mix to slowly erode them…

… that ends up causing them to off-gas leading to contamination of the ozone you are using for your health.

After a lot of research, the only company I use is Simply O3.

Not only do they have great options for ozone generators, I also like their organic ozone oils which they have as capsules, oil, spray, and suppository.

Which brings us to local ozone options which support you with:

• Skin issues – wounds, infections, rashes, acne, post-surgery
• Oral/dental problems
• Joint injuries/pain
• Healing stomach lining
• Getting rid of gut pathogens
• Mold toxicity

You can apply the ozone oil/water directly to the skin and you can also use it to oil pull.

I’ve also massaged my gums with the ozonated oil, just for some extra dental support.

If you want to take the oil internally, I would opt for the capsule version to help with healing the gut lining or getting rid of pathogens.

I have used a little bit of the ozonated water to either rinse my mouth with or even sipping a little bit of it.

That hasn’t been researched a whole lot, but sometimes I feel like it and so I trust my body on that one.

Now, remember, we never want to inhale ozone, but there is a way to get the benefits of ozone for the lungs!

When ozone is bubbled through olive oil, it creates ozonides, which have the benefits of ozone without the risk of damaging your lungs.

Breathing ozonides supports sinuses, lungs, helps against infections, and support a wide range of respiratory issues including asthma and allergies.

Ozone can also be bubbled through water for ear and vaginal insufflations.

The ear insufflation supports ears, eyes, nose, and throat infections, and has been indicated for use with Lyme, tinnitus, mold toxicity…

With vaginal insufflation, women get local benefits for the vagina, as well as for the whole rest of the body.

Again, things such as infections can be addressed, and I have wondered about its detox capabilities, since many feminine hygiene products are so full of toxins…

Ozone really has a lot of benefits, even more than what I’ve listed.

There is something to keep in mind though:

When you do use ozone, take your antioxidants at a different time.

Say you just did an ozone treatment, wait an hour before taking your vitamin C or any other antioxidant you have.

This allows the ozone to do what it’s supposed to do, and then the antioxidant can do what it’s supposed to do, without them canceling each other out.

Also, if you’re using any of the systemic versions, I would recommend doing those earlier in the day – after all, ozone can help boost energy, too.
