Ingredients:
- 4 cups Buckwheat flour
- 2 tsp. Yeast
- The tip of a knife covered with honey (it’s for the yeast, not you)
- 2 tbsp. Olive oil
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Apple cider vinegar
- 2 Eggs
- About 1 1/2 cup water
- Sunflower or sesame seeds for sprinkling on top
Directions:
- Put the flour in a mixing bowl, add the yeast and stir. Add all other ingredients, except water, and combine.
- Add 1 cup of water, stir with a spatula or wooden spoon, gradually add more water until the dough is smooth. Flour is always different, so the amount of water will vary.
- Let the dough rest for about 1 hour (longer is fine as well). Put the dough in the greased or parchment paper lined pan, sprinkle with seeds of your choice.
- Let rest for another hour.
- Bake at 330º F for about 1 hour 10 minutes.
- Insert a toothpick, if any dough is still sticking to it, leave the bread in the oven for a couple of minutes longer and re-test with a toothpick.
